I'm a research engineer working on microfluidic sensors for oceanography applications at the National Oceanography Centre in Southampton, UK.
In 2015 I completed my PhD in the Microsystems group in the Mechanical Engineering Department of the Eindhoven University of Technology, under the supervision of Dr. Yves Bellouard. My thesis work involved developing a glass-based microchip for the automated identification of algae by species. You can find out more on my research page.
Prior to this I got my master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in the Stoeber Lab, part of the Microsystems and Nanotechnology Group, and my bachelor's in Engineering Physics (also from UBC).
